Transportation - Brokerage Operations

Focus will be on the brokerage aspect of our business. You will do this by helping our customers/carriers move their inventory in the most cost effective way by identifying and providing logistic solutions. Additionally, you will create and manage your individual portfolio of accounts while working in a team environment. Business is generated primarily thru inside sales by way of industry referral, prospecting and business to business selling. You will be addressing concerns and implementing solutions for both established, as well as perspective customers/carriers.
Leads are generated and followed up on primarily by the Logistics Account Executive with some leads furnished by Tradewinds. You will be contacting shippers, manufacturers, 3PLs, distributors and carriers on a daily basis.
Tradewinds Logistics individuals begin their career with a competitive base salary along with a generous bonus structure all awhile the opportunity to advance based on performance as they grow within the company.

Responsibilities:
oAttention to detail and confident decision making skills
oDevelop relationships with customers/carriers over the phone
oDispatch drivers/perform customer service duties
oSoliciting, pricing, negotiating service requirements and closing new business
oExtreme multi-tasking ability
oIntegrity, discipline, execution and communication skills
oEnthusiasm and high energy
oWork hard - play hard attitude
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
