Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant.
The Assistant will provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be proficient in computer literacy, and have a strong attention to detail.
The candidate needs to be able to perform a variety of tasks, including retail sales support, packaging, shipping, and help with moving inventory, as needed.
Candidate must be friendly, enthusiastic and have a positive attitude.
Duties:
- Perform data entry tasks, including inputting information into spreadsheets and databases - Provide friendly customer service via phone and in-person - Assist with receiving incoming packages and preparing outgoing packages - Assist with payments and collections - Provide general administrative support, such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and filing documents - Assist with order entry and processing
Experience:
- Previous experience as an assistant or in a similar administrative role is preferred - Proficient in computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively This is a part-time position with flexibility in schedule.
This position will likely have an opportunity for full-time hours later this year.
