Job DetailsWe are seeking a talented and motivated Backend Software Engineer to join our dynamic team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about technology and enjoys working in a collaborative environment.
As a Backend Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development of server-side applications and services.
You will be part of a team that is responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.
Responsibilities:
As a Backend Software Engineer, you will:
1.
Develop and maintain server-side applications and services, ensuring optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness.
2.
Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
3.
Utilize your expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle EBS, electronic data interchange, SOAP/REST, Stored Procedures, and Oracle Fusion to optimize our database systems and improve our products.
4.
Develop and implement effective APIs.
5.
Troubleshoot, debug, upgrade, and optimize existing systems.
6.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
7.
Ensure that all systems are up to date with the latest technology standards and protocols.
8.
Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code.
9.
Provide technical leadership and help us push the boundaries of what can be achieved in backend technology.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1.
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2.
A minimum of 5
years of experience as a Backend Software Engineer or similar role.
3.
Extensive experience with SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle EBS, electronic data interchange, SOAP/REST, Stored Procedures, and Oracle Fusion.
4.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
5.
Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical mind.
6.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
7.
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
8.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9.
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
