50 an hour 2 days ago 2 days ago 2 days ago Come join our amazing team and work remote from home! The Default Claims Specialist is responsible for preparing, filing, and following up on all FHA, VA, USDA, PMI, and investor claims timely and accurately according to insurer/investor guidelines.
Perform all duties in accordance with the company's policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.
The target pay range for this position is $19.
50-$21.
50/hr.
What you'll do:
Prepare and file all FHA, VA, PMI, and investor claims timely and accurately according to investor/insurer/CMS guidelines and requirements.
Review, follow-up, and ensure the timely and accurate completion of all regular scheduled steps including outstanding/late steps in the foreclosure tracking templates pertaining to claims/post foreclosure sale activities on a daily basis.
Maintain updates in Fiserv and input the completion date on the date the action occurs.
Obtain approval and modify the scheduled date to a date in the future when a step in the process cannot be completed.
Perform routine follow-up on a daily basis.
Document all servicing, action taken, delays, follow-up, and phone conversations in the system notes.
Keep Team Lead and Supervisor informed of all trends and problems including, but not limited to, claim denials/curtailments, FHA re-conveyance, FHA offsets, delays in getting properties in conveyance condition, and title problems resulting in title denial.
Ensure all claim documents are imaged timely.
Continue to learn new skills and expand job knowledge to better perform assigned duties.
Moderate understanding of the foreclosure and claims process Ability to prioritize work in order to meet strict deadlines What you'll need:
High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
