We can't wait to welcome you onboard!We are seeking a dedicated Construction Channel Manager to lead our direct and 2-step distribution marketing efforts within our direct and 2-step distribution channels.
This role is essential to our company's growth, where you will collaborate with our marketing and sales teams to drive sales and profitability through a blend of digital and traditional marketing tactics.
As the Channel Manager, your key responsibilities involve developing strategies that align with our business goals, identifying growth opportunities in current channels, overseeing marketing strategies, analyzing campaign results, and shaping our overall marketing approach, including online promotions, product content, advertising, and brand presence.
Primary Responsibilities and Requirements:
Support the sales team with promotions, onsite support, and product demos, including providing marketing materials, product training, and vendor negotiations.
Focus on continuously improving profitability by collaborating with key suppliers and the purchasing team.
Stay informed about industry trends and new products to enhance the Industrial Fastening Channel, ensuring our overall competitiveness within the marketplace.
Manage price approvals and seek ways to improve profitability.
Analyze and communicate channel performance to key stakeholders, including marketing leadership and sales, and work to optimize marketing programs.
Qualifications:
2-5 years of experience in channel management or marketing is required.
Experience in fastening or related products is a plus but not a necessity.
Highly analytical, capable of deriving insights from data and refining strategies accordingly.
Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams to forecast sales, refine marketing and sales strategies, and present business plans to leadership.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong time management and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, OneNote, Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and Teams).
Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Naturally curious about new marketing and growth strategies, as well as supporting technologies.
A team player with strong character.
