Job Description for the Corporate Inventory Manager As the Corporate Inventory Manager you will be the chief inventory officer and lead a team managing assets company wide.
You will be provided a Company Vehicle, a laptop and a phone.
To ensure success the position requires residence in central Indiana, and the ability to travel occasionally to support locations in Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, and Iowa.
Travel is expected to be 25% but you will manage the regular travel schedule.
The primary focus of this position includes the following:
Follow all FSS, Inc.
Safety expectations at all times including but not limited to vehicle and travel, product storage, and its distribution.
Administrator level access of Flowtrack and other inventory management software.
Manage FSS, Inc.
inventory processes for Fumigation and Dynamic IPM materials and products, and other assets company wide.
Perform bi-annual in-person audits of regional product inventory to ensure system accuracy and reduce shrink throughout the company.
Identify gaps in training, understanding, or execution of software and programs and correct errors and behaviors.
Provide direction and support to solve complex inventory issues as they arise.
Work Closely with the Shipping and Logistics Manager to maintain accurate representation of company assets.
Collaborate with Corporate leadership and Regional Managers to ensure accurate representation of company assets in all systems and reporting.
Assist Controller and Accounting team with monthly, quarterly and annual close.
Other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Extraordinary attention to detail and experience with inventory management processes.
Ability to learn and implement federal, state, and local regulations, third-party audit standards and related requirements for products used in the Pest Control industry.
Experience managing product receiving and storage in multiple locations is preferred.
Knowledge of inventory processes including pallet quantity, case pick and single units and their distribution.
Work independently on a variety of schedules and in various cities throughout our service areas and potential service areas.
Manage your time efficiently to allow maximum productivity when working independently or when travelling.
Project management skills and the ability to represent the company with contractors and other third parties during building management and improvement projects.
Display a high level of mechanical aptitude.
Create and facilitate training/presentations at company events.
Pre-Employment Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
