Job Description:
Theoris Services is helping one of our clients find a Test Technician that will work on product and safety testing in a testing center industrial environment.
This will include safety testing, fixtures, test machines, high-speed camera, and lighting equipment usage, hands-on mechanical, hydraulic, and overall operations.
Requirements:
High-level mechanical aptitude Very high Knowledge of hand tools Must have a working knowledge of computers to efficiently operate (hands-on) in an environment using Microsoft Office, etc.
Must be able to be mobile for the entire day as required; this is not a desk job.
Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
Must be able to perform the following as required:
climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, seeing, observing, and repetitive motions.
Must maintain a valid driver's license and be able to drive when necessary.
Responsibilities:
Review test requests, test preparation documents, and applicable supporting documentation prior to beginning test preparation to ensure clarity and completeness of the information is supplied.
Work with team to prepare test setups and conduct testing and posttest tasks as required to meet testing objectives and timelines to ensure customer deliverables are met Understand and become proficient with applicable test centers and test machine operation including mechanical, hydraulic, electronic, and data acquisition systems as well as overall operational and safety issues.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality to protect sensitive information, products, and innovations for our customers.
