POSITION
Summary:
Responsible for compiling financial data and reporting through verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling accounting transactions and resolving discrepancies.
This role will be required to partner with company managers to ensure compliance and accuracy of our books and records.
Works closely with other Corporate Accounting Department staff to ensure the general ledger and accounting entries are posted correctly, timely and completely.
Assists with posting and reconciling of various general ledger accounts, preparation or periodic financial and regulatory reports, and leasing accounts.
Essential Functions:
Audit and prepare monthly/quarterly state sales and use tax reporting Execute monthly accounting close activities and account reconciliations Maintain and account for all capital and operating leases Operating and petty cash accounts Payroll accounting Work cross-functionally with and support our business partners by providing financial insights and relevant reporting Provide support and assist with the company year-end financial audit Collaborate with team and business partners on financial reporting enhancements Assist with the design, implementation, maintenance, monitoring, and testing of internal controls related to GL accounts, reconciliation, and certification Responsible for projecting a positive image of AgReliant Genetics and act in accordance with the Company's Core Values Back-up/support for Payroll activities as directed Other duties as assigned EDUCATION/
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline required 1-3 years of general accounting experience or internship required Knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and Lease accounting Experience in Concur and SAP helpful, but not required
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Thorough understanding of accounting Excellent oral and written communication skills Must have problem solving abilities Ability to effectively present information Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail Ability to meet deadlines and multitask Strong work ethic and positive attitude Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) with advanced level in Excel Ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material Ability to demonstrate excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and multi-task while maintaining attention to detail PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to work required hours Ability to lift 25 lbs Must have valid driver license and meet MVR guidelines.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
